Accepting Uncertainty
How good are you at accepting uncertainty? We can't control our lives or our world, and we have been challenged deeply to surrender to the changes in our lives. This practice invites you to accept and surrender to everything you do not know about life, the world and our future, everything we can't control, and everything we can't change about ourselves. This can be used at any time you feel uncertain, unsure, and need to practice surrender in your life.
Letting Go
This powerful short meditation is for when you’re feeling something difficult emotionally and want to find your centre again. Using the breath as your anchor, the practice will guide you through acknowledging and validating your emotion, and then letting it go, as you exhale deeply and purposefully. Whether you’re feeling distressed, sad, anxious, grief, heartbreak, depressed, or any other emotional experience that is overwhelming for you, this practice will help. We all need to let go of SOMETHING in our lives, and often we need to practice over and over. Use this meditation to help you release baggage and control and free yourself from unnecessary burdens. Lastly, it encourages you to tune into what you really need today to uplift and support you through this difficult time and invites you to deliver it to yourself.
Deep Relaxation
Find that place within you that is as nourishing as having an entire beach to yourself, swinging playfully on a hammock, or feeling weightless as you drift into a restful sleep. This meditation is slow, grounding, and heart-centred, allowing you to soften, melt and surrender into yourself. Easy to follow, you'll be feeling relaxed and nourished with a calm mind and body.
Cultivating Loving Kindness
You’re kind and polite and giving to everyone else. You work hard, you achieve your goals and you bear the brunt of the harshness of life in-between. But what about giving to yourself? You may be so hard on yourself, so critical and so goal-oriented that you're dragging yourself through life, chasing one goal after another, without stopping to be kind to yourself. This meditation helps you to stop and give back to yourself by cultivating loving-kindness towards yourself. You’ll learn that, with the breath, you’ll always have a tool to bring self-compassion into yourself.
Accepting Where I am
When you wish life could change, you're unhappy with where you're at or you are struggling with big emotions and heavy thoughts, there can be a deep frustration at yourself for feeling stuck and unable to move forward. This meditation invites you to accept where you are, own your feelings of stuckness, and invite you to drop the mental battle, self-criticisms and living in the future. Be where you are now, with compassion.
Drop the Anchor
This meditation is GOLD! It can be used at any time that you need to take a step away from the chaos of the day and ground yourself. You'll find calm easily, and find your centre within the storm of our lives. Using the visualisation of a boat and the sea shows us how our breath can be our anchor at any time we choose to use it. Always remember to take ten minutes for yourself and anchor yourself, so that you can attack your day from a calmer and more productive place within yourself.
Past and Present
Now is the time to let go of the past and what no longer serves you. You'll be invited to visualise your future moving forward, allowing your creative and imaginative mind to provide guidance and inspiration for the future. If you feel stuck, this meditation will allow you to move forward and have hope for a better future.
Soften and Surrender
This meditation will guide you to stop, soften and learn to surrender. So often we are rushing, pushing and refusing to rest. We move through life trying to be tough, focused and always in charge. What if we let go a little? What if we softened, and then went out after our goals? What if we remembered we weren’t really in control anyway and give ourselves permission to let life take the lead. Stop forcing yourself over your limits and pace yourself, gently instead.
Listening and Letting Go
When your mind is overwhelmed, it tells your body that you're stressed and that makes everything worse. This meditation will guide you to let go of your thoughts, by exhaling them far away from your mind. You'll drop your shoulders, relax your mind and show your Inner Critic that you don't have to listen to it at all. Find calmness and confidence again by taking back control of your thoughts.
Permission to Rest
This meditation gives you permission to rest and experience joy in whatever form you find it. By taking a step away from your responsibilities and everything you think you have to do, you'll find spaciousness in your day and the invitation to deeply rest and just be for a while. This is your invitation to practice nourishing self-care without guilt.
