When life becomes loud and harsh, it's easy to lose touch with the quieter, steadier parts of yourself.
This is a place to find your way back.
Climb into a beautifully curated collection of meditations and practices designed to help you come to ground.
Return often, and you'll gradually notice something changing because you'll begin meeting yourself with more compassion, clarity and trust.
May this become the place you return to whenever you need somewhere thoughtful to land.
A place you trust.
A place that quietly reminds you,
"I've got you. I know what to do."
Return often and know how to stay on your own side when life feels hard.
Explore my signature coming to ground meditation: Daily Ritual Meditation
You’re holding up the Universe - for everyone else and doing all the things.
You’re good at it- you’re smart, you’re capable, you’re dynamic and you do it all with grace and charm.
And- you’re understandably EXHAUSTED and have lost the thread between your life and your true self.
Here’s where to go next;
There are chapters in life when we don't need more insight, information or another technique.
You simply need to be reminded how to come home to yourself, and enjoy it.
To be guided, and to follow a trusted source you can rely on to show you the way, not figure it out on your own.
This this the blue print to come to ground when you barely know what that means anymore
May this become the place you return to whenever you need somewhere thoughtful to land.
A place you trust.
A place that quietly reminds you,
"I've got you. I know what to do."
Return often and know how to stay on your own side when life feels hard. That may be a grounding practice for an anxious evening.
A compassionate response when your inner critic has become obnoxious and loud.
A meditation to help you sleep.
A familiar voice reminding you of something you've forgotten.
Those are the moments this Tree House was built for.
The Tree House is a home for the therapeutic concepts, reflections, meditations and practices I've spent more than a decade creating, refining and sharing through my work as a psychotherapist, writer and teacher.
Every piece has earned its place here. They’re shaped not only by training and experience, but by years of listening to the people who've trusted me with their stories and discovering what genuinely helps when life feels hard and you want to settle yourself.
Again and again, clients have reflected back, "That was exactly what I needed."
That has never surprised me, because these are the same ideas, practices and perspectives I've returned to throughout my own life too.
My hope is that this becomes one of those places you quietly keep returning to, because you know you'll always leave feeling a little more grounded, connected and ready to meet whatever comes next.
What begins to change when you keep returning? Cultivating a ritual of turning towards yourself builds something beautiful with yourself, each day.
You'll begin to notice that instead of automatically criticising yourself...you pause, and catch it.
Instead of immediately reacting...you notice what's happening and find space.
Instead of avoiding yourself...you know how to stay on your own side.
Instead of spending weeks overwhelmed...you recognise it sooner and come to ground.
Instead of endlessly searching for another answer...you already know where to return.
Turning towards yourself begins to feel less frightening and more familiar. Your inner world becomes somewhere you're curious to explore, rather than somewhere you instinctively avoid.
You stop seeing your inner world as something to escape from, and begin experiencing it as somewhere you're excited to come home to.
One of the quieter corners of the Tree House is where we wander together, collecting glimmers, writing field notes, and discovering that nature has been quietly teaching us how to be human all along...
Notes from the Field: Gracetown Glimmers
I'm stepping across the beachside rocks of our southwest coast at my mother's holiday home in Gracetown. Stopping to admire the quirkiness of native bushflowers, one yesterday, I thought, looked like chicken feet.
Watching rolling waves for hours.
Following a little leaf finding its way down a stream as I lie on my belly, my face really close to the water's edge. I find these things so mesmerising, and I think you can find them mesmerising... or mindful... too.
Nature, in its asymmetrical way, in its non-linear way, is incredibly soothing because it reflects back to us a winding and imperfect way of being while also successful, efficient, purposeful, beautiful, seasonal, and exactly as it needs to be.
Nature is all of those things, and yet still messy, chaotic, and imperfect. Visually seeing that, soaking in the sounds, the beautiful textures and colours, is often a gentle sensory bath... the original sound healing bath, if you will.
Unexpected adventures.
Purposefully lost.
Intuitive trails.
Rhythmic steps.
Slow noticing.
Calming an entrepreneur's mind.
Fairy lights on.
Jaw soft.
Nothing left to prove.
Tonight is for me.
Therapy isn't simply about understanding yourself while you're sitting in the therapy room.
It's about gradually discovering a different way of relating to yourself that begins to accompany you everywhere else.
The Tree House is my way of extending that companionship into everyday life.
Return often, and over time you'll begin making sense of yourself with the same curiosity, compassion and perspective we practise together, until that voice gradually becomes your own.
One day you'll notice you've paused before criticising yourself...
...responded with kindness instead...
...and realised it wasn't my voice you were hearing anymore.
It was yours.
The collection curates the most valuable practices I use with myself and my clients. Let's get straight to the heart of the compassion, self-soothing and insightful guidance you crave and that I know work effortlessly from years of experience.
Guided therapy infused practices backed by EMDR and Internal Family Systems theory for understanding your inner world, feeling safer and self-supported.
Intimate audio journeys to build a resilient relationship with yourself - confidently creating space from upsetting thoughts and emotions to zoom up and out into calmness.
Guided reflective practices and somatic tools and techniques that help identify, articulate and soothe your Inner Experiences masterfully and succinctly back to presence and confidence.
You don't need another expert telling you what to do.
You don't need more information, more strategies or another list of things to remember.
Yes, insight matters and understanding matters.
But lasting change rarely comes from simply knowing more.
It comes from experiencing yourself differently.
The Tree House is designed to help you move beyond endlessly analysing yourself and into a quieter, kinder way of relating to yourself.
Rather than explaining every psychological concept, I gently guide you into the experience itself.
Through story, metaphor, reflection, music, meditation, sensory rituals and therapeutic practices, you'll begin embodying the very qualities you're trying to cultivate. Here, we step away from intellectualising or talking ABOUT healing, and get inside it instead.
Compassion becomes something you feel, not simply understand.
Self-trust becomes something you experience, not something you keep trying to think your way towards.
Over time, you may notice you spend less energy trying to solve yourself...and more time simply being with yourself.
That's where I believe healing begins.
I'm Gabriella | A registered clinical psychotherapist, writer, meditation teacher, and incurably curious observer of what it means to be human.
For more than a decade, I've sat alongside women through grief, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, life transitions and the quiet ways we lose ourselves.
Along the way, I've become less interested in helping people understand themselves...and far more interested in helping them build a relationship with themselves that feels steady enough to hold whatever life brings.
The Tree House is a collection of the practices and perspectives I return to most often for myself, and the clients I support.
Everything here is grounded in evidence-based psychotherapy, shaped by years of clinical practice, and filtered through my own deeply human, creative way of seeing the world.
I'm so glad you've found your way here.
Life doesn't ask you to figure yourself out.
It asks you to keep meeting yourself, again and again, with curiosity, compassion and courage.
A therapy session can offer insight.
It's the rituals you return to afterwards that slowly become a different way of living.
That's what the Tree House is for.
There's no right place to begin. Follow what catches your eye, return often, and trust yourself to find what you need.
Begin here. A gentle introduction to the Tree House, how to wander through it, and your first climb into a steadier relationship with yourself.

Who can Join? Can I share this with friends?
Yes- you can share this with anyone you feel would find benefit, and they are welcome to join and do not have to be a past or current client. Thank you for sharing
The Therapeutic Tree House is an educational resource designed to complement, not replace, therapy or personalised mental health care.
Current clients may find these resources helpful in supporting and extending their therapeutic work beyond the therapy room.
Those accessing the Tree House independently are warmly welcome.
Please note that using these resources does not establish a therapeutic relationship with Gabriella de Mori and is not a replacement for therapy.
If you're looking for individual therapeutic support, you're warmly invited to learn more about working with Gabriella or one of the therapists at Gabriella de Mori & Co Counselling here.
Absolutely- it may be exactly what you need right now. Whether you're waiting to begin therapy, taking a break, have completed therapy or simply want thoughtful resources to support your wellbeing, the Tree House is designed to meet you where you are.
Yes. Many members use the Tree House alongside therapy as a way of reinforcing ideas between sessions and continuing their reflections throughout the week. Every therapist has a different approach, philosophy or ways of working and so this combination may bring you additional perspectives and tools.
There are no rules. Some people spend ten minutes with a meditation or journal prompt. Others enjoy exploring a longer guide on a quiet Sunday afternoon as a home retreat. The Tree House is there when you need it, and there is no expectation to complete any or all practices. Take what you need, refine your favourite practices, and use it how it suits you.
Not at all. This isn't a prescriptive course or 'homework '. You're welcome to wander. While new sections are released gradually over twelve weeks, once they're available you can return to any resource as often as you like. Climb up when you can.
The Tree House will continue to grow over time with new guides, meditations, reflections and seasonal resources and is designed to unfold over many weeks, rather than overwhelm you with everything at once. This will give you focus, and intentional time to embody the lessons and resources, while looking forward to the next curation.
The Tree House isn't designed to be another library to race through. Think of it less like binge-watching a series or 'achieving self-care' and more like taking a gentle walk through the forest—one treehouse at a time, being present, smelling the flowers, admiring the trees, and really soaking it in.
Yes. I'm neurodivergent myself, so I trust you will find a creative and engaging approach in my work. Resources are designed with flexibility in mind; however, there are no specific neurodivergent resources. I only develop and use practices that my neurodivergent brain enjoys and engages with. There is no "right" way to move through the Tree House, there are no assessments or observations of your progress, and you don't have to be linear. You're encouraged to engage with whatever feels helpful and leave the rest. It's primarily audio-based, so you won't have long passages to read.
You don't need hours each week. Some days you might listen to a five-minute meditation. Other times you may spend an afternoon exploring a guide or journal. The Tree House is designed to meet you where you are, and there may be periods of absence and then you return when you can. I've included resources from 5-30 minutes long for variety. You can listen to the riff audios ( not the meditations) while driving or while doing chores.
Yes, this is a membership style where there are no lock-in contracts. If you are on the monthly subscription, you can cancel at any time, and your access will close at the end of the month. If you've paid in full at the outset, you can cancel at any time to close your account; however, no refunds will be processed.
Yes. Every new member receives a 3-day free trial, giving you the opportunity to explore the Welcome resources, experience the Tree House and decide whether it feels like the right fit before your subscription begins.
No. The Tree House isn't designed to replace therapy or ask you to become your own therapist. Most resources aren't about deep self-analysis or trying to untangle complex experiences on your own.
The intention is much simpler: to arrive, press play, and exhale. I've taken the complexity out of it, so that each resource is designed to gently help you come back to yourself, effortlessly.
Gabriella does not provide therapy or direct 1:1 support in The Tree House.
There is an abundance of wonderful free wellbeing content available, along with endless therapeutic information, podcasts, books and social media accounts to explore.
The question isn't whether free resources exist. It's whether they feel like the right fit for you, and whether you feel genuinely accompanied by them.
Every therapist brings their own philosophy, values and way of understanding the human experience. The relationship you build with their work matters. Just as the therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of change in counselling, I believe feeling aligned with the person guiding you is equally important here.
The Tree House isn't a collection of disconnected ideas gathered from the internet. There is a consistent philosophy woven throughout every guide, meditation, journal and reflection. Rather than being offered hundreds of different perspectives, hacks and quick fixes, you'll find one thoughtful voice, one therapeutic philosophy and one gentle way of approaching the human experience.
That is also because 95% of what is in the Tree House is original resources developed by myself- Unique meditations, custom guides, my own reflections, processes and riffs on the therapeutic concepts. The other 5% is links or credits to originators or core modalities of resources to the authors who say it better than me.
As a psychotherapist with over ten years of experience, I've shared the ideas, practices and reflections that I've seen make a meaningful difference, both in my own life and in the lives of the women I've had the privilege of walking alongside.
The Tree House isn't built around promises to fix, heal or transform you. It's a place to pause. To become curious. To feel accompanied. To gently integrate the inevitable ups and downs of being human.
If my way of thinking, writing and seeing the world resonates with you, then I hope this can become a place you return to often. If it doesn't feel aligned, I trust you'll find the guide who feels like the right fit for your journey.
Only you can answer if it's right for you from the taster experiences and my words and descriptions.
If you've read through this page and found yourself thinking, "This feels like the way I want to be spoken to," then I suspect you'll feel at home here.
The Therapeutic Tree House isn't trying to be everything for everyone. It has a particular philosophy, pace and way of understanding the human experience. It's not clinical, it's not hours of psych-education, there are no PowerPoints, and it's not 'lessons.' They are my original creations, guides, words, guidance, meditations and perspectives.
Some people will love that, and others will naturally feel more drawn to a different approach.
That's exactly as it should be.
